Using Messages to Share Your Location

2. Tap Send My Current Location.
3. A map thumbnail will immediately appear in the chat.
4. If the recipient has an iPhone and taps the map, they’ll see your location in Apple Maps.
5. Non-iPhone users will get a link to open in their browser.

To share for a longer period:

1. Tap the contact’s name in Messages.
2. Choose Share My Location.
3. Select a duration: 1 hour, rest of day, or indefinitely.
4. The recipient will get a notification you are sharing your location and you’ll be added to their Find My app.

Using Find My to Share Location
