Netflix is everyone’s favorite streaming platform since it has your every favorite TV show and movies. But how would it be great if it automatically your favorite movie or TV shows without opening the app and going through the download process?
I guess that would be fun as you can continuously watch your most-loved content on Netflix when you are away from the internet. For that, Netflix added the Smart Download feature in 2019 to download upcoming episodes while you are watching the current one.
Recently, Netflix has added one more fruitful feature for its users it called ‘Download For You.’ This new feature is similar to Smart Download, but it will automatically download shows and movies based on your taste (I mean, it will be based on your search history and most loved genres).
This new feature is rolling out for Android and iOS devices. If you want to activate the Download For You function on Netflix, we have prepared a simple guide to do it.

Step to Turn on Netflix’s Download For You Feature on iOS Devices.
Note: Make sure that your Netflix app is updated to the latest version.
Step #1: Launch the Netflix app on your iPhone.
Step #2: Go to the Download section.
Step #3: Now, you will see the new ‘Download For You’ option under the Smart Download. You need to turn the toggle ON next to it.
Step #4: There is also the option to set the download limit from 1GB, 3GB, or 5GB storage and tap on the Turn on button.
That’s it!
Once you enable the Download For You option in the Netflix app, it will automatically download all your favorite genres without doing anything. But if you are using limited cellular internet data, it would be good to keep this option off as it will use your data a lot.
