Apple designed iOS 15’s Voice Isolation feature to mute unwanted surrounding noise during calls. The microphone mode spotlights your voice by using machine learning to identify ambient noises and block them out. Once you enable Voice Isolation in iOS 15, you won’t get any sound interruption during FaceTime call.

Voice Isolation feature only supported on iPhones running A12 Bionic chip or later chip build models like iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR. How To Turn On Voice Isolation in iOS 15
If you have a Voice Isolation compatible iPhone from the above, you can use Voice Isolation to block unwanted noise. You can enable Voice Isolation in iOS 15 from the control center while on the FaceTime call.
- While FaceTime call is on, open Control Center.
- Tap on Mic Mode next to Video Effect.
- Now select ‘Voice Isolation’ from three options.
