How to fix iPhone X when it won’t turn on
As we said earlier, iPhone X not turning on is a common problem and can be solved if there isn’t physical damage or hardware issue. Sometimes some software issues may also bring such issue and that can be solved with PC or at Service Center but the first one should try these methods as they are just basic and normal and it won’t harm your iPhone. Once your iPhone is turned on then you can try some other troubleshooting.
1. Force restart your iPhone

Note: With some changes in the physical keys of the iPhones X and later models, the Power button of the device is called a side button by Apple now. So don’t be confused as the side button and power button both are the same thing.
Follow the process given below to force restart your iPhone X:
Step 1 – First, press and release the Volume Up key and follow the same actions with Volume Down key.

This method will fix the software crash. So, to try this method at your home you need to have a computer or laptop with iTunes installed on it. If you regularly use iTunes then you might have a backup of your iPhone on your PC if not then follow the process given below:
Step 1 – Open iTunes on your Windows or Mac system and connect your iPhone with the lightning cable.
Note: If iTunes recognizes your iPhone then click on the icon and then you can take backup and restore your iPhone X easily to solve the iOS software crash. If not, then follow the next steps.
Step 2 – Disconnect your iPhone from PC and reconnect it while pressing and holding the power key. You need to keep holding the Power Key until the recovery-mode screen appears.
Step 3 – Once the recovery-mode appears, you will get the restore and update option in the windows saying “There is a problem with the iPhone “iPhone” that requires to be updated or restored”. Choose Update and it will reinstall latest iOS version without deleting your iPhone.
Step 4 – Now iTunes will automatically download the iOS for your iPhone X. Your internet connection should be good and even if it takes over 15 minutes, iPhone X will exit recovery mode and you shall need to follow the process from Step 2.
