iPhone 7/7 Plus:

  • Press and hold both the Power button and the Volume Down button for at least 10-12 seconds or until you see the Apple logo.

  • In iPhone 6s and earlier iPhones, press and hold the Power Button and the Home button for 10-12 seconds or until you see the Apple logo.

Important – You need to have a computer or laptop with iTunes installed on it. If you don’t have a computer then borrows your friends’ or visit Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service center.

First, connect your stuck iPhone with computer and then follow the steps given below:

iPhone 8, iPhone X or later:

  • Press and hold the Power (Side) button and any of the volume buttons until the power-off slider shows up. Turn off your device by dragging the slider.
  • Connect your iPhone to your computer while holding the Power or Side button and keep holding it until the recovery-mode screen appears.
  • Now you will see an option of “Update” or ‘Restore” on iTunes. Select “Update” and iOS will be reinstalled without erasing your data.

iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus:

  • Press and hold the Power button and drag the slider to turn off your device.
  • Connect your iPhone 7 or 7 Plus to your computer while pressing and holding the Volume Down Key.
  • Don’t take your finger from holding the Volume Down button until the recovery-mode screen appears.
  • Now you will see an option of “Update” or ‘Restore” on iTunes. Select “Update” and iOS will be reinstalled without erasing your data.

iPhone 6s or earlier:

  • Press and hold the Power button and drag the slider to turn off your device.
  • Connect your iPhone 6s or earlier model to your Pc while pressing and holding the Home button.
  • Don’t take your finger from holding the Home button until the recovery-mode screen appears.
  • Now you will see an option of “Update” or ‘Restore” on iTunes. Select “Update” and iOS will be reinstalled without erasing your data.

Note: iTunes can take 15 or more minutes to reinstall iOS to your device and while following the process if you accidentally exit the recovery mode then, you have to follow the first two steps given in every device’s method.
