Some users report that the phone can get so hot that it becomes difficult or painful to hold in the hand during activities like gaming or navigation.

Apple says that your iPhone 15 models might feel warmer during the first few days after you’ve set it up or restored the device, because of the increased background activity. In addition, some bugs in the iOS 17 and recent updates in third-party apps like Instagram, Uber, and Asphalt 9 are also responsible for iPhone 15 Pro overheating issues.

Apple’s response to iPhone 15 overheating

Apple has finally address this issue, Apple accepted the overheating problem and has said that a software fix is in the works already. In a statement issued to various media outlets, Apple said that it is confident the overheating problems are related to software bugs rather than hardware flaws with the new A17 Pro chip or titanium enclosure design.

Update Instagram App

Apple promised to fix this bug in an upcoming iOS 17 update. We expect the iOS 17.1, which is currently in Beta and expected to arrive in late October, to fix the iPhone 15 overheating issues.
