So I was looking for ways to get back to the older version of Instagram on my iOS device, and luckily I found the way. If you also want to get the older version back then you have come to the right place. Let me share with you the ways of getting the older version of Instagram on an iOS device.
Can I Download Instagram’s old version on IOS?
Fortunately yes! There is a way for you to get the older version of Instagram on your iOS device. you can either use the Anytrans tool or get a friend’s account. Let me show you both the method.
Method 1: Use AnyTrans
To use AnyTrans, you’ll need to download it to your computer and connect your iPhone with a USB cable. Then you can follow these steps:
- Launch AnyTrans and choose Device Manager.
- Click on Apps.
- Choose the old version of Instagram and click on the To Computer button to back up it to App Library.
- If you want to download another version of Instagram from App Library to your iPhone, click on the App Downloader icon and choose the version you want.
- If you want to upgrade, downgrade, or delete any version of apps on your iPhone, click on the Manage Apps icon and choose the action you want.
- That’s it! You’ve successfully downloaded Instagram’s old version on iOS.

- Once the old version of Instagram is downloaded, log out of your friend’s Apple ID and log back in with your own. You can now use Instagram as usual, but with the old version.
- To prevent Instagram from updating automatically, go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Automatic Downloads and turn off Updates.
