I have been an iPhone user for past 7 years and even after so many years I keep on discovering new things in iPhone. Just a while ago I discovered that we can actually send someone a text with effects. And not just text, we can even send a text where the effects are applied automatically. Its mesmerizing, isn’t it? Who knew iPhone can do such thing. And for those who also weren’t aware of this feature like me, allow me to guide you through every step of how to use these iPhone text effects.

All about iPhone text effect:

iPhone text messages are not just for sending a simple text message, we can make a text more interesting by send special effects, photos, videos etc. Apple doesn’t usually advertise for this stuff, as they are put out there for the users to discover, kinnda like an easter egg. There is a wide range of special effects for you to choose from which can make your message more fun to read; animated text, confetti, balloons, love hearts, fireworks and many more. You can either select the effect you want to apple to your text, or just use a phrase that will automatically activate the effect for you.

NOTE: You will not be able to add effects to every message you send from the Messages app, it works only for iMessages. These are the blue messages that Apple allow you to send to other iPhone users. Green messages are ordinary SMS texts to which no effects can be applied.

You can make a fireball by touching and holding the screen with one finger, or a beating heart by doing the same with two fingers.
