Capcom has finally announced the debut of Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 Remake on iPhone 15 Pro and M1 iPads. Your favorite survival horror game is finally on iOS devices. Resident Evil Village on iOS Devices
At the 2023 Tokyo Game Show in September, Capcom made major announcements about bringing hit horror franchises Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 to Apple devices. This news definitely brought a bit of a shock to iOS users, since there was literally no chance of getting this game on iOS devices, but here we are.
The survival horror masterpiece Resident Evil Village launched on iPhone 15 Pro, M1 iPads, and newer models on October 30, 2023, for $39.99. As promised, Capcom delivered an immersive experience that brought the shrieks and shadows to life through cutting-edge graphics rivaling dedicated gaming hardware. Unfortunately, if you are using an iPhone which is not iPhone 15 Pro and higher then you won’t be able to get this game on your device.
Alongside Village, Capcom brought a remastered version of Resident Evil 4 to iPhones, iPads, and Macs later in 2023. As anticipated, it allowed fans to relive Leon S. Kennedy’s adventure in an unforgettable fashion.
How to Download and play Resident Evil Village on iOS devices?
While the Resident Evil Village game is not available on the App store yet, Capcom has promised that preorders will be available on the Apple App Store. Keep an eye on announcements to secure your copy and dive into the horror from day one. Currently, you can see that Resident Evil Village game has already been listed in the App Store, but it is not yet available to pre-order. Maybe it would be a few days before the actual release on 30th October 2023.
To download and play Resident Evil Village on iOS devices, follow these steps:
- Open the App Store application on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
- Search for Resident Evil Village in the search bar and select the game from the search results.
- Tap the Get button to begin downloading the game. Note that the Get button will only appear starting October 30, 2023, when the game releases.
- Once downloaded, tap the Resident Evil Village app icon to launch the game.
- An internet connection is required when first launching the application.
- A limited portion of the base game can be played for free. To access the full game, an in-app purchase is required.
- For the best experience, connect DualShock 4, Xbox Wireless Controller, or other compatible wireless controllers. The built-in touch controls are also fully customizable for on-the-go play.
- Resident Evil Village will be available on iPad models with M1 chip and newer, iPhone 15 Pro and newer starting October 30th.
