Apple has made many changes in IOS 16 and especially improved the lock screen. Users can fully customize the lock screen of the iPhone with new wallpapers, colours, depth effect wallpapers, and widgets. I like to see battery, fitness, and reminders widgets on my iPhone’s beautiful lock screen. Since the new feature, many users can be confused about how to add widgets to the iOS 16 lock screen. Let’s check out this guide to do it easily.

How To Add IOS 16 Widgets On Lock Screen on iPhone

Note: Since iOS 16 is still under testing, the final version is one month away. Ensure you have installed the iOS 16 beta version on your iPhone to use this feature.

Step 1: Press the Lock Screen

First, you need to press and hold your finger on the lock screen of your iPhone to open multiple lock screen wallpaper customization options.

Step 2: Tap on the Blue + icon

After that, tap on the Blue + icon at the bottom right corner to customize the current wallpaper.

Step 3: Add Widgets

Next, tap on + (widgets box) below the time and date.

Step 4: Scroll and Select Widgets Size

After tapping the + icon to add widgets, you can scroll through the different sizes of widgets from 4 small widgets, 2 small and 1 medium, or 2 medium widgets.

Step 5: Choose A Widgets

After choosing the perfect widget size, you can tap on the special Widget to add to the lock screen of iOS 16 below the date and time section.

Step 6: At the last, tap on Done.

Once you have completed the above steps, you will see the newly added widgets on the lock screen of your beloved iPhone on the charming lock screen of iOS 16.
