Apple has released the latest iPhone 13 last September 24, 2021, in Singapore. It is somewhat similar to its predecessor, the iPhone 12, except for the camera lens layout and better iPhone 13 specs. Though has better specs, Apple did not increase its price since the iPhone 12.

The iPhone 13 is a solid performer this year since it has double the storage amount of the iPhone 12, bigger battery, more color options, and introduced newer specs. This could be a good recommendation for those who want a new unit of an iPhone.

General Specs

The iPhone 13 was released with the new chip called A15 Bionic with faster CPU and GPU performance. This new chip has improved the iPhone 13 specs that enable a cinematic mode that blurs backgrounds for better video recording, photographic styles, live text which automatically translates texts, and a lot more.

Compared to iPhone 12, it has a larger battery that can last up to 1.5 hours longer. With continuous surfing on 5G, the battery life can last up to 10 hours and 30 minutes.

Its new ultra-wide camera is equipped with a faster sensor and captures 47% more light for a better photo at video capturing. The night mode automatically adjusts to capture clear photos with vibrant colors. Its deep fusion camera feature captures ultra-fine details and patterns. Its TrueDepth camera system allows you to use photographic styles, Smart HDR 4, Dolby Vision recording, and more.

With its twice the storage compared to iPhone 12, this newest model of iPhone has a minimum of 128GB to keep all your videos, photos, and apps. Personal info such as Face ID data and contacts are protected through the A15 Bionic Chip.

When it comes to the water-resistance game, the iPhone 13 can go up to 6 meters in 30 minutes.

What’s in the Box

Apple continues to remove its pack-in accessories. The box only includes the iPhone 13, USB Type-C to lightning cable, instructional materials, sim-ejector tool, and the Apple stickers – no charger or earbuds included. The main reason why a charger is not included in its box is that Apple has been reducing carbon emissions and lessening the mining of materials used on new chargers.

They recommend that consumers use their old iPhone charging adapter to lessen the negative environmental impact. However, chargers and Apple EarPods can be bought separately.

Market Availability

In Singapore, iPhone 13 with 128GB internal memory price starts at $252 on flexible monthly plans. Some telecoms offer promotions such as free SIM card and unit delivery, free 3 months of Apple Arcade, free 3 months of Apple TV+, and free unlimited weekend data for 3 months.

With the newest and upgraded iPhone 13 specs, its battery life is strong enough for multi-player and graphic-insensitive gaming; and the Smart Data mode keeps the battery life longer when you do not need all the speed on browsing. Its battery life, performance, and excellent camera features make the iPhone 13 worth buying.
