Mic Mode iOS 15 Not Showing & Working: How To Fix It

Ever since the iOS 15 update release, the new Mic Mode has always been in talk because of its production use for iPhone users. This is the best feature to make audio and video calls qualitative. However, everyone is lucky as many users are coming with Mic Mode iOS 15 not showing, missing, or not working problem.

iOS 15’s new Mic Mode included three modes Standard, Voice Isolation, and Wide Spectrum. Under these options, users can manage sound quality and video calls on different apps. Once the call starts, this Mic Mode will appear on the Control Center.

Users can choose any option from Standard, Voice Isolation, and Wide Spectrum. The default call sound will be considered as Standard. But you can choose Voice Isolation to silent or mute unwanted surrounding sound and select Wide Spectrum to let surrounding sound in during the call. You can choose these option rights from the Control Center once the call is initiated.

iOS 15 Mic Mode Not Showing or Missing

If you don’t see Mic Mode on your iOS 15 running iPhone, you should know iOS 15’s Mic Mode is only supported on iPhone XS, iPhone XR, and later iPhones. Even if you have Mic Mode compatible device and still don’t see Mic Mode, it would be only appearing at the Control Center once you have started the voice or video call on apps like FaceTime, Instagram, Snapchat, Zoom, Google Meet, etc.

How To Enable & Use Mic Mode on iOS 15

  1. Open FaceTime or any calling app to start a video or voice call.
  2. Swipe down from the top right corner to open Control Center.
  3. Tap on the new Mic Mode.
  4. From the small overflow menu, choose Standard, Voice Isolation, or Wide Spectrum as per your choice.
  5. Tap anywhere to go back to the normal Control Center, and you will see the selected option in Mic Mode.
