There is no stopping for Apple, the company is on a spree to give its users back to back update and enhance the users experience. Recently Apple has released the first beta version of the upcoming iOS 17.2 update, which includes a range of exciting new features.

iOS 17.2: New Features

Journal App: Your Personal Digital Diary

iOS 17.2 introduces the Journal app or so it says. The Journal app is a new app that allows users to record their daily activities and thoughts.

Users can add text, images, voice recordings, and location tags to their journal entries. The Journal app also includes optional prompts that can be used as inspiration.

Collaborative Playlists on Apple Music

Music lovers rejoice! Apple Music now allows collaborative playlists, enabling users to join forces with friends and family members.

Users can now create a playlist in Apple Music that multiple people can add to. This is a great way to create shared playlists with friends or family members.

Sticker Responses in Messages

Communication gets a creative twist with sticker responses in Messages. Users can now add a sticker response to any chat bubble in the Messages app.

iOS 17.2 includes a new AirPlay Receiver setting that allows users to stream content from the Vision Pro headset to their iPhone. This is a great way to view content from the Vision Pro headset on a larger screen.

iOS 17.2 also includes a number of other new features, such as a new Body section for customizing Memoji, a Fast Fade option for the Books app, and a rainbow-coloured text for your name in Contact Poster.

iOS 17.2: Release Date

iOS 17.2 is expected to be released to the public in November or December 2023.

However, Apple has not confirmed the release date for iOS 17.2 yet.

It is currently in beta testing, so if you have signed up for developer’s beta then you can install the iOS 17.2 beta update.
