You might have heard of call blocking, and you must be even using it. It is available on all devices. There are some times where you don’t want to receive some call or text from certain someone, you might not want to receive or make phone calls at times, or you may effortlessly block calls and SMS messages whenever you want so you use blocking feature. Call barring is a similar type of feature.  Call Barring is a useful tool that allows you to manage the calls you make and receive. Incoming call blocking disables your phone from receiving calls. Call Barring may also be used on outgoing calls to block specific sorts of calls from being made from your phone.

How To Turn Off Call Barring iPhone Globe

You may disable call blocking, which prevents any outgoing calls until you want. This function is not available in the Settings screen of your iPhone, therefore you must use these hidden codes to enable it.

To utilize this call barring function, you do not need to set a SIM card PIN. You will, however, need to know your SIM card PIN if you have activated it under Phone > SIM PIN. This is not the same as your screen unlock PIN.

Plug the following code into the dialler and press Call to enable automobile barring and block outbound calls. Replace PIN with your SIM card’s numerical PIN. If you don’t have a SIM card PIN, you can enter any number in its stead. It makes no difference what number you pick.

Incoming phone calls and texts:

  • To disable call and text barring for incoming calls and messages, dial #35*4-digit code># on your mobile phone and press the call button.
  • Dial #351*4-digit code># on your mobile phone and hit the call key to deactivate call and text banning from international numbers only.

Outgoing phone calls and texts:

  • Dial #33*4-digit code># on your mobile phone and hit the call key to deactivate call and text banning.
  • Dial #331*4-digit code># on your mobile phone and hit the call key to disable your call and text barring for international numbers only. The default four-digit code is 1234.

Call barring status of incoming calls/texts:

  • Dial *#35*4-digit code># for local banning and then hit the call key.
  • Dial *#351*4-digit code># for international barring and then hit the call key.

Call barring status of outgoing calls/texts:

  • Dial *#33*4-digit code># for local banning and then hit the call key.
  • Dial *#331*4-digit code># for international barring and then hit the call key.

Is call blocking and call barring the same thing?

Call barring is not a conventional call blocking capability; instead, it will block all calls of a certain type. However, it might be handy when you don’t want calls from certain numbers, such as when you want to block all calls from international numbers.

What is Barring’s four-digit password?

The default should be ‘1234’ or ‘0000,’ however if you bought the phone used, you should check with the vendor to see if they changed it.

What is the procedure for changing my barring code?

To change your old password, dial **03*330*old 4-digit code>*4-digit new code>*4-digit new code># and hit the call key on your cell phone. Make sure your new code is four digits long.

What happens if I forget my call barring password?

Unfortunately, the only way to recover your phone without a password is to do a factory reset. This will clear all of your phone’s data and reset it to factory settings, eliminating the forgotten phone password.
