I always have been a huge fan of Face ID since it is one of the safest and quickest ways to unlock an iPhone. When COVID shook the entire world, it became necessary to wear a mask at every public place. Since then, it has become so irritating to use Face ID to unlock my iPhone by removing mask. But finally, the most awaited Face ID with Mask On feature has been added to iPhone with the latest iOS 15.4 update.

Earlier, Apple added the feature to unlock iPhone with Apple Watch while wearing a mask. But now, the new iOS 15.4 update allows users to quickly unlock iPhone with Face ID with Mask without using Apple Watch. The great thing is even it support multiple pairs of glasses. If you want to unlock iPhone with Face ID with Mask On IOS 15.4, here’s the full steps by step guide to set it up now.

How To Unlock iPhone With Face ID With Mask On iOS 15.4

Note: Make sure that you have iPhone 12 or later iPhone to support using this feature.

  1. Once you have installed iOS 15.4, you will see the new screen to set up Face ID with Mask on iPhone 12 or iPhone 13.
  2. Tap on Continue to set up and follow the prompt.
  3. While scanning your face with mask, make sure you remove the glasses.
  4. You can also Add Glasses button in the second scan to add your face with glasses.
  5. If you have skipped the process by taping Set Up Later, you can go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode > Use Face ID With a Mask and complete the setup.

That’s it.

From now, iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 users will be able to use this most useful feature on their device. Since the iOS 15.4 update rolled out with Face ID with Mask on feature, many users with older devices are not happy since they did not get this feature.
