Dynamic Island is a brand new word in iOS ecosystem. Since Apple revealed it at the September 7 event, everyone has been talking about the new Dynamic Island feature. It’s been a few days since Dynamic Island was introduced, and people cannot wait to get Dynamic Island on iPhone.
What is Dynamic Island?
Dynamic Island is the pill-shaped hole at the top of the iPhone where we used to see the notch. Along with the front face camera, the capsule-shaped layout will allow users to manage background running app notifications and live activities. Users can simply tap or tap and hold on the Dynamic Island to get into the app and running function.
Which iPhones support Dynamic Island?
Since the feature was unveiled, many iOS users have eagerly awaited to get Dynamic Island on their iPhones. Unfortunately, Dynamic Island only supports on latest iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models.
Which apps support Dynamic Island?
Since Dynamic Island is at the initial stage and third-party app makers are working on adding Dynamic Island integrated UI to the app, only Apple’s native apps are compatible with Dynamic Island. But we can expect more app support for Dynamic Island in future.
