IPhone has be upgraded to a point where we get different kinds of wallpaper such as Dynamic wallpapers, still wallpaper and live wallpapers.

  • Still Wallpapers: Still wallpapers are static images that remain fixed on your screen without any animation.

How to delete a wallpaper on iPhone iOS 17?

  1. Unlock your iPhone device running iOS 17 with face id or touch id.
  2. To access the wallpaper gallery, long-press on the Lock Screen of your iPhone.
  3. This bring up a menu that allows you to customize various aspects of your device, including wallpapers.
  4. After entering the wallpaper gallery, you’ll be presented with a collection of wallpapers.
  5. Swipe through the gallery and find the wallpaper you want to delete.
  6. Once you’ve located it, tap on it to select it for deletion.
  7. Once the wallpaper is selected, swipe upwards on the image. This action will reveal a red trash can icon on the screen, indicating that you can delete the wallpaper.
  8. To confirm the deletion, tap on the red trash can icon.
  9. A confirmation message will appear, asking if you want to delete the selected wallpaper.
  10. Tap Delete This Wallpaper to proceed with the deletion.

The steps given above may change slightly based on the iPhone model you are using. Note that once you confirm the deletion of a wallpaper, it is permanently removed from your device, and you cannot recover it unless you have a backup of your iPhone.
