Sadly Apple only covers the warranty of the iPhone if it is resistant to fresh water. Saltwater lie sea or ocean can damage your iPhone, and Apple does not cover water damage as part of the iPhone’s warranty. If you have Apple + care, you will use your two years of the slot to protect the water damage on your iPhone.
