IOS 16.5 is been considered the next major update and probably the last update. iOS 16.5 is expected to bring some exciting new features and improvements. iOS 16.5 Features
Siri Can Now Start and Stop Screen Recording
One notable change in iOS 16.5 Beta 1 is that Siri can now start and stop screen recording. This new feature allows users to activate the screen recording function on their iPhone by simply saying, “Hey Siri, start a screen recording.” This can be useful for capturing gameplay, tutorials, or any other content on your iPhone screen. To stop the screen recording, you can either tap the red status bar or say, “Hey Siri, stop a screen recording.” The recorded video will be saved to your Photos app.
Apple News Now Has a New Sports Section
Apple has been making strides in the sporting world recently, including the return of MLB in April. With iOS 16.5, My Sports in the News app will get even better with the much-requested move of the Sports Tab to the bottom of the application. The Sports Tab now sits right in the middle of the News app giving sports fans a quick way to access their sports news and results without having to scroll through the Today feed. You can also follow specific leagues and teams that you like, and get live scores and highlights.
Support for Sports Multi-View in Apple TV App
Another feature that will make sports fans very happy is the support for sports multi-view in the Apple TV app. This feature will allow viewers to watch multiple sports streams at once on their iPhone or iPad. You can choose up to four streams simultaneously and switch between them easily. This means you don’t have to miss any action from your favorite sports, whether it’s MLS, Friday Night Baseball, or anything else.
Longer Beats Studio Buds+ Animation
iOS 16.5 also brings a longer animation for Beats Studio Buds+, Apple’s rumored wireless earbuds that are expected to launch soon. The animation shows how to pair and use the earbuds with your iPhone, and it lasts for about 15 seconds. This suggests that Apple is preparing to release these earbuds in the near future, possibly alongside iOS 16.5.
