iOS 16.3.1 issues

With each software update, iOS 16.3.1 has its share of problems and glitches that users may run across. Even while Apple works to make every update easy and dependable, users occasionally run into bugs ranging from small issues to serious usability concerns. In this article, we’ll look at some of the typical iOS 16.3.1 issues that users have encountered. Thus, regardless of the problems you’re havingapp crashes, battery drain, or anything else, we’ve got you covered.

IOS 16.3.1 is considered a minor update. Although it did not bring any new features or updates, it did bring some important bug fixes and security patches to the compatible iPhone models. After the installation of iOS 16.3.1 what we have learned is that the battery life is stable, although there are many users who still have issues with the battery drain problems. What I would suggest in this is that if iPhone models get a bit old or have some hardware issues, even then users may face some battery drain issues.

Apart from stability in battery life, Wi-Fi connectivity is also fast and reliable. Apart from that GPS and cellular data are also working properly. IOS 16.3.1 is running smoothly with no major issues with the UI. There are no major issues noted, however, users are still facing some issues after updating their devices to iOS 16.3.1.

iPhone 14 models were the ones that faced issues the most after updating to iOS 16.3.1. The most reported was the one where the screen would stutter while scrolling through applications like Twitter, Apple Music, or games like Hit the Island. Apart from that a white frame flashes when users open the lock screen. iPhone 14 models have reported major battery drain issues after updating their devices to iOS 16.3.1. Some iPhone 14 users claim that their battery life has gotten better than before but still the issue remains.  All these issues started after a few days of installation.

A user on Reddit claims that the face id on an iPhone device was not recognized. When after iPhone detects the face id the dialogue box saying “Try FaceID again” and “cancel” still remains for a few seconds before it disappears. It is a minor issue but still, the problem continues. It is said that Apple has fixed this issue in iOS 16.4 beta 1.

A system bug was also reported by one of the Reddit users claiming that the iPhone occasionally becomes unresponsive out of nowhere. This has been happening quite often since after iOS 16.3.1 update. If you reset your iPhone device, then this issue does not show up until 2-3 days after. After 2-3 days the same issue occurs and the problem remains consistent.

The camera app also faced some issues here. After iOS 16.3.1 the camera app showed that it has been draining battery life and using almost 27% of the battery. Although the camera app has been opened for like a minute it still consumes 27% of the battery life. It was later noted that it was a bug that has been fixed with iOS 16.4 beta 1 update.

That’s it, folks! If you have faced any issues after updating your device to iOS 16.3.1 then do let us know in the comment box down below.

Until next time, with another topic. Till then, Toodles.
