How To Hide Apps on iPhone

Betty

At home, my niece often uses my iPhone to watch some funny videos on YouTube. So, I wanted to hide some apps on my iPhone so no one can see those apps at home. My teenage siblings also seize my iPhone. I knew that there is a way to hide apps on iPhone in iOS 14, but I was not aware of it. Of course, we can set a passcode or Face ID lock, but that doesn’t work with your niece and siblings.

When I Googled “how to hide apps on iPhone”, I saw many ways like hiding apps from smart suggestions, iPhone search, App Library, App store, and more. Oh God, I wanted a simple way to hide a few apps from my iPhone home screen. Among all the methods, only one way was valuable and easy to go. Well, you can hide apps from the home screen on your iPhone and have them only on App Library. That can be hiding from the home screen but not from the App Library. There is another way to hide apps from the home screen and app library on iPhone. Let’s follow the guide.

How To Hide App On iPhone in iOS 14 or iOS 15

  1. First of all, create a new home screen page.
  2. Add apps you want to hide.
  3. Long-press anywhere on the home screen to start the jiggle mode.
  4. Tap on dots indicators at the bottom.
  5. Now you are in the Edit Pages section; you need to uncheck at the bottom to hide the page with apps (you want to hide).
  6. After uncheck, tap on Done at the top right corner.
  7. Go back to the home screen and tap on Done.

Now you can check you will not see the home page and apps on your entire device (even on the App Library). Even your sibling or your friends won’t be able to find those hidden apps. To unhide those apps, you need to follow the same steps and check the unchecked page in the Edit page section. Easy-peasy, right?

This was the simplest and quickest way to hide apps on iPhone without using any third-party apps. The great thing about this method is that you can use multiple apps on the new page and hide all apps at once. You don’t need to hide apps one by one.

In my view and many other iPhone users, this way of hiding apps is the most popular one. Even now, I like keeping some apps hidden from my friends to fool them.

Have you tried this method? Was it easy and quick? Please do not forget to share your feedback in the comment box. Also, feel free to ask for more way to hide apps on your iOS devices.
