  5. Find the case of your AirPods case from the list.
  6. You are in luck if there is a green light beside the AirPods case option.
  7. Green light indicated that your AirPods case is very close to you, so it might be around you.
  8. If you find that there is a grey light, then it is out of your range (40 feet) or the battery is dead, then the trail is gone cold.
  9. You might even try going around with your iPhone and keeping the Find My app open, so as soon as you see a green blinking light you will know that the AirPods case is around here somewhere.

If your AirPods case is out of range then it won’t be listed in the connected devices, instead, it will show you the last location of the AirPods case. It might not show you the exact location but it can give you an idea of where it was, so you can search around that area.
