After a long wait, Krafton, the South Korean video game developer, has finally announced the release date for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) on iOS devices. The popular Battle Royale game, which has already been released for Android users, is set to make its debut on iOS on May 29, 2023.
Preload Available for Android Users
As of May 27, 2023, the game is available for preload on Google Play Store for Android device users. However, the game servers are still offline, meaning that Android users will have to wait a bit longer to play the game. The game will be live on both Android and iOS devices later this month.
Release Date for iOS Users
For iOS users, the game will be available for download and play from May 29, 2023. This announcement has been confirmed by multiple sources, including Inside Sport India, Business Today, and Sports Tiger. This means that iOS users will have to wait a few more days to download the game on their devices.
Staggered Availability and Playability
In anticipation of an overwhelming number of downloads, Krafton will stagger the availability and playability of BGMI. This approach ensures players enjoy the game seamlessly without any interruptions. Players can, therefore, jump into the action-packed battles and prove their skills on the battlegrounds from May 29 onwards.

The new update will introduce a New Map, In-Game Events, and more. On the sidelines of the availability of the game, Krafton has also launched a new marketing campaign ‘India Ki Heartbeat’ that showcases the stories of gamers who embody the essence of BGMI as more than just a game, but a profound emotion.
