It seems like the war between Epic Games and Apple is not stopping since the Cupertino-based company restricted popular game Fortnite from the App Store.

Since the Epic Games added the in-game payment mode to by 30 per cent commission of Apple, the tech giant has to take the massive step to block the game from the App Store.

To retaliate the ban, Epic Game also sued Apple and Google for holding a monopoly over their app stores. Epic Games thinks that banning the app is a kind of monopoly over apps, and games is anti-competitive. But the things have gotten ugly as Apple decided altogether to remove Epic Games from the iOS Developer program.

Yes, that’s right! On Friday, Apple made the final decision to terminate the developer of Fortnite from the developer tools which used for the new updates in the game.

The decision to come just a day after US court rejected its bid to have Fortnite reinstated on the App Store, saying its eviction by Apple was a “self-inflicted wound.”

When Apple asked about this decision, they replied to the AFP inquiry that “We are disappointed that we have had to terminate the Epic Games account on the App Store,”

As we know that Apple doesn’t allow its users to download apps even from the third party store. This is the matter of Apple own App Store.

Apple also told Epic Games that they are going to cut off access to tools need to tailor software for devices powered by the iPhone maker’s operating systems.

This week, a judge’s ruling prevented Apple from cutting Epic off from access to developer’s tools for its Unreal Engine that powers graphics on computers.

“The court recommended that Epic comply with the App Store guidelines while their case moves forward,” Apple said.

“Epic has refused. Instead they repeatedly submit Fortnite updates designed to violate the guidelines of the App Store.”

Apple contended Epic was putting Fortnite players in the middle of a budding battle involving the companies.

“Apple is asking that Epic revert Fortnite to exclusively use Apple payments,” Epic said in reply to an AFP inquiry.

“As a matter of principle, we won’t participate in this scheme.”

Apple is no longer allowing Epic to submit apps or updates via a developer account.

Players with earlier versions of Fortnite can still play on iPhones or iPads, but will have to rely on Apple’s payment system for transactions.
