If you are also experiencing these bugs then you are not alone. In this article, we are going to discuss some of the most common iOS 17 bugs reported by the users who have installed iOS 17 developer’s beta.

What’s new with iOS 17?

IOS 17 is the upcoming latest software update, that is going to bring new features and update to its compatible devices. Let us take a look at some of the new features of iOS 17.

Live voicemail is definitely the most amazing feature that Apple could give. With live voicemail, you can easily get a live transcript on your screen. It will display what the caller is calling for. Isn’t that amazing!

iOS 17 ensures that users don’t have to scroll all the way up to the top of the screen to access their stickers. They can now access them directly from the keyboard. Putting in simple words you can get stickers everywhere.

Contact posters allows users to customize how they appear on the Lock Screen of other iPhone users when making a call. Users can add photos or Memoji to their Contact Poster and select typography and font colors so that when they call another iPhone user, their Contact Poster appears exactly as they have set it.

StandBy modefeature allows users to put their iPhone in StandBy mode, which will turn off all notifications and incoming calls. Users can still receive calls from their favorite contacts.

With iOS 17, users can send a mini video message via Facetime if their contact is unable to answer their Facetime call. Let’s wrap the features part here and get to the iOS 17 bugs discussion.

IOS 17 bugs and issue:

There is a list of bugs and issues that were reported by the users. without any further delay let us get into it.

One of the frequently reported issues with iOS 17 is the sudden disappearance of the signal strength indicator. This might not affect the actual signal but still the bars indicate that the signal disappears and is replaced by the blank space.

Another issue that has been reported by iOS 17 users is the error message stating that the mobile data network could not be activated. This problem can prevent you from using cellular data on your device.

Some users have reported a lack of overall responsiveness in the user interface (UI) after updating to iOS 17. This can cause sluggish performance, unresponsive touch gestures, or delays in opening apps. You can try and close unnecessary apps to solve this issue though.

We cannot forget about the battery life. With every new update, battery drain issue occurs and it is no surprise. Previously, screen-on-time with similar use was roughly 7 hours; on iOS 17, it is only about 5 hours. The standby battery consumption is also significantly higher.

With iOS 17, numerous new capabilities for digital well-being were added to screen time. However, screen time is not working properly on a large number of machines. Our unit displays zero minutes, and screen time provides no information. The screen distance and communication limit features are also problematic.

On iOS 17, the keyboard is a jumbled mess. When you want to quit a chat on any app, it frequently refuses to minimise. You must eventually close and reopen the app. Sometimes the keyboard freezes without displaying what you input, which is really inconvenient.

Wallpaper is being removed. Instead of the wallpaper you selected, a blank wallpaper is displayed. It occurs on the home and lock screens. Instead of displaying the wallpaper, it simply fills the entire background with black.

The recent calls screen in the phone app has a bad appearance, with bad space and strange fonts. The names have all been shifted to the left, which is contrary to the design. Hopefully, this is an early UI design flaw.

Don’t you think that more than the features there are bug? But don’t worry there are still many beta versions to come that will solve all these bugs and issues.

Until next time, with another topic. Till then, Toodles.
