As the Government of India banned 59 Chinese apps, including TikTik, many other developers took this privilege and released more apps like TikTok. The Facebook-owned Instagram has added the Instagram Reels feature in Brazil, Germany, and France as well as India as they know that demand for short videos is still at peak. Well, this new feature is now available for testers right now and will be in the final version soon. So if you don’t want to use to install any other apps like Roposo, Mitron, and Chingari and still want to continue having fun, then Instagram Reels is the great option to do so.
New Instagram Reels feature will let you create a video, add creative filters and music, and then share it with your followers. You can make this video for 15 seconds, just like TikTok. According to Shah, this new feature comes upfront as 45% of the Instagram videos are 15 seconds and less. And they also added that stories are not the only option for users to stick on for longer with the followers. They also said that there won’t be any monetization for it.
Instagram Reels Feature: How To Use It
Note: Before you began the procedure, go to the Google Play Store and check if there is a new update available. If you see the update, then update it, and it don’t see any update then wait for it.
Step #1: Open the Instagram app.
Step #2: Next, open the Instagram camera, and you will see the new Reels option next to Boomerang, Superzoom, hands-free, and layout.
Step #3: Now tap on the new Reels option, and then you can choose Audio from the Instagram music library. Now you can get thousands of music audio tracks as Instagram collaborated with many prominent music labels.
Step #4: There is also the option to record your original voice besides lipsyncing.
Step #5: There is also AR effects you can use along with options like Timer, Speed to edit videos as required before sharing. You can also re-record a video and even delete it if you don’t like it.
Step #6: Once you have created a Reel, you can select it and share it with your followers. You can share to feed as well as explore with others.
