Ever since the release of the iOS 16.4 update, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding Apple Pay Later. While many users are curious about how to set up and use this new feature, others are wondering where I can use Apple Pay Later.
For those who are new to this service, Apple Pay Later is a new financial offering from Apple that allows users to split their purchases into four payments, which are spread out over a period of six weeks with no additional interest or fees. It is currently only available in the United States, but Apple has announced that it will soon be expanding this service to users worldwide.
When using the Apple Pay Later service, a user can apply for a loan directly within the Wallet app on their iOS device. They will be prompted to enter the amount they wish to borrow and agree to the terms and conditions of the service. If the loan is approved, the user will receive a soft credit check and will then be able to select the ‘Pay Later’ option when using Apple Pay at checkout. The user can then access and manage their credits in the ‘Apple Pay Later’ section of their Wallet and will receive notifications via the app and email before their payments are due.

However, for any purchases north of $1,000, Apple Pay Later just won’t work. You will either need to turn to the Apple Card or another type of credit service.
