With the iPhone 14 launch event just around the corner, Apple seems to have a series of refreshed models, especially featuring some stunning color variants. If you have been meaning to get your hands on the brand-new iPhone 14 model, we have good news lined up for you.
Besides the already existing list of colors that iPhones are available in, reports suggest that the upcoming iPhone 14 will come in a unique purple color variant too.
The rumors ignited after the Chinese social media site, Weibo, released an image showcasing the dummies of the iPhone 14, including a purple-colored one in the list.
A first look at the line-up suggests that the color options are pretty much the same as you’d find in the iPhone 12, and iPhone 13 models that were released in the previous years. But, the standout was the re-introduction of the purple model, which left the consumers excited about what was to come.
iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max
If we base our expectations on the image shared on Weibo, currently, it looks like the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will be available in five different color variants:
- Black (midnight)
- White (starlight)
- Blue
- Red (product red)
- Purple
If this is the final layout of the color options, it looks like the pink and green variants that came with the iPhone 13 won’t be available anymore.
iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
If the line-up of the dummy models on Weibo is accurate, it looks like the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max don’t have a lot of diverse color options this time around.
Compared to the predecessor, iPhone 13, the iPhone 14 Pro variants will be available in four color options:
- Graphite
- Silver
- Gold
- Purple
This again means that there are chances that Apple has shelved the Sierra Blue and Alpine Green color variants for the new iPhone 14. But, looks like the line-up will come with the new Purple color options.
Will the iPhone 14 Variants Come in Purple?
There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the iPhone 14’s availability in the Purple finish. And, if the rumors are correct, there are chances that all the models of iPhone 14 will feature a purple variant, leaving the consumers fairly excited.
The availability of the purple finish of the iPhone 14 won’t be a completely new thing since Apple released a purple color variant for their iPhone 12 models too.
Additionally, users aren’t sure if the purple color will feature the kaleidoscope effect under the different lighting conditions or not.
Will iPhone 14 Have Green Color?
Although there are no official confirmations yet, the current reports suggest that the upcoming iPhone 14 won’t be available in the green color variant.
But, the images on Weibo might not be the final confirmed colored variants, at this point, it looks like there isn’t going to be any green color variant of the iPhone 14.
Will iPhone 14 have Product RED?
Lastly, speculations do suggest that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will come with the product RED variants. But, whether or not the same will be available for the iPhone 14 Pro versions is still not confirmed. We would need to wait until September 07, 2022, to find out what’s going to unfurl in the final available versions.
With the rumors and reports, it looks like a very select range of color options is going to be available for the iPhone 14 lineup. But we will have to wait for official confirmation of the final versions and any additional color options that are likely added to the line-up in the future.
