Last week, during the earnings call for the fiscal quarter of 2020, the Apple CFO Luca Maestri confirmed this year you could expect supply a few weeks later compared to last year’s iPhone. Hence, we can now assume that there is no Apple’s September event this year. So we can expect October event for the release of iPhone 12.
From the last week, we talked a lot about the iPhone 12 battery, storage capacity, and a lot about it. But haven’t discussed the display of iPhone 2020 models. Well, we did a talk that Apple is planning to bring four new iPhone 12 devices, but with 10% less battery capacity compare to iPhone 11. But today, we are going to talk about the iPhone 12 display panels.
The news about the leaked iPhone 12 display panel suddenly took the wave when Reliable Apple Leakers @loabaiTD and @1nsane_dev posted some pictures on its Twitter account which shows the display panel of next iPhone 12 models.
A tweet from the @loabaiTD claimed that the iPhone 12 would have OLED display panel with 5.4-inch size and the device expected to be the most affordable iPhone this year. After some time, they deleted the tweet, but then again they shared another image which suggested that Apple will not change the notch site on upcoming iPhone 12 models.
Adding more buzz to the leaker @loabaiTD, another leaker Giulio Zompetti (@1nsane_dev) also posted the same image of the OLED display panel that could be used on the iPhone 12 Pro with the 6.1-inch size. The picture also shows the same notch size as the previous iPhones. This also confirms that Apple is not doing any experiment this year with the notch.
According to our leaks, Apple will hold the October Special event for iPhone 12 models where we can expect four iPhone 12 models: 5.4-inch iPhone 12, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Max, 6.1” iPhone 12 Pro Max, and lastly, the 6.7” iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Some leakers also suggested the price of the iPhone 2020 which would start from $649 for the 5.4” iPhone 12 to $1499 for the high-end iPhone 12 Pro Max with maximum configurations. The sad part is that the iPhone 12 may have less battery life around 10% les from the previous iPhone release.
The popular leaker EverthingApplePro (@EveryApplePro) also shared two images of Magents which is going to be inside the iPhone 12’s chassis.
We are still two months ways from the release of iPhone 12. We are about to see a lot of rumours and leaks about the upcoming iPhone 2020 model in these two months. What are you expecting from the next iPhone 12? If you have anything to share about it, please do share it in the comment section!
