Compared to the previous major iOS 16.3 update, I’m loving the new features in iOS 16.4. I’m eager to test out the latest public beta, so I’ve put together a guide for downloading and installing it. Although the final release of iOS 16.4 is still a ways off, I’m excited to get a sneak peek at the new features and have some fun testing out the beta version.
The early release of iOS 16.4 beta introduces several exciting features and updates. Users can expect to find new additions such as a fresh set of emojis, improved browsing capabilities for Safari and third-party browsers, 5G Standalone support, and enhancements to Shortcuts and Focus modes. Additionally, Apple Music has new animations, and there is a beta toggle in Settings. These are just a few of the many changes that iOS 16.4 beta brings, making it an anticipated update for Apple device users.
Note: One of the changes that came with the iOS 16.4 update is a toggle that allows users, both developers and the general public, to opt-in to beta software. This option eliminates the need to repeat the process of installing beta software. However, it also means that developers can no longer share beta profiles with others in the future.
