Several users have complained that their battery life is significantly declined after installing the new iOS 16.0.3 software update.

Apple first stated that the haptic keyboard functionality in iOS 16 might be depleting iPhone batteries. The feature’s Apple Support pageeven said that setting keyboard haptics may reduce the battery life of your iPhone. However, even after turning off the function, many have reported experiencing the same problem.

Usually, there are other reasons for your battery drain issue, but seeing the consistency with the software update, it could definitely be said that it is due to the iOS 16 software update, your iPhone battery life is significantly dropping. 1.    APPLICATION CHECK

Many third-party apps will consume more device power after installing the iOS 16.0.3 upgrade.As a result, it would be beneficial if you determine which applications are consuming the most power; you will need to search for and eliminate any undesirable apps that are draining your device’s battery. Battery Usage Activity may be seen under Settings > Battery.

2.    DISABLE FITNESS TRACKING

3.    DISABLE ANALYTICS

If you share your device analytics with Apple or third-party developers, your battery life may suffer as a result of the upload; however, adopting low power mode and reducing background usage can alleviate this problem.

4.    RAISE TO WAKE: DEACTIVATE

Turning off Raise to Wake can save battery energy while making features like Face ID less useful. Raise to Wake is a quick fix, but it should only be used as a last option.

5.    ENABLE AUTO-BRIGHTNESS

To manage battery life, you may activate Auto-Brightness or choose low brightness the Settings app. Enable Auto-Brightness by going to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Auto-Brightness.

6.    DISABLE BACKGROUND APP REFRESH

Background App Refresh drains the device’s battery faster. As a result, you should stop this feature by going to Settings > General > Background App Refresh > Turn Off Background App Refresh.

7.    DISABLE LOCATION SERVICE

Turning off location services will also assist to extend the life of your device’s battery. As a result, you may stop Location Service by going to Settings > Privacy > Location Service > Turn off. You may also leave this option enabled for individual apps.

8.    SWITCH TO LOW POWER MODE.

Lower Power Mode decreases the device’s background activities. As a result, if your battery life is limited, you must select the Lower Power Mode option. To enable this option, go to Settings > Battery > Lower Power Mode.

9.    RESET THE SETTINGS

If you notice any small glitches or battery drain difficulties after installing the iOS 16.0.3 update on your iPhone, rebooting the iPhone will assist to improve the iOS 16.0.3 battery life.

1. Navigate to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone.

2. Select the Reset option.
