How To Turn ON iCloud Private Relay and Set IP Address in iOS

How To Enable iCloud Private Relay On iPhone in iOS 15

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Next, tap on your profile name at the top of the screen.
  3. Choose iCloud Private Relay.
  4. Turn the toggle on next to Private Relay. 

Once you have activated the Private Relay and then visit any page on the Safari browser, your location cannot be seen by the network provider as well as even Apple cannot track your location. You can also set up an IP address by following the below steps. 

How To Set IP Address Location In iCloud Private Relay

  1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on your name at the top of the screen.
  3. Select iCloud Private Relay.
  4. Tap on IP Address Location.
  5. Now select Preserve Approximate Location or Use Broader Location.

After selecting Preserve Approximate Location, the service will not reveal the exact location instead of making sure the same geographic area.
