As emojis play a great role in group and personal conversation, Instagram added the new feature to send the reaction emoji to someone’s message. People loved this feature as it allows them to quickly send their reaction to the message without writing any reply message. Since WhatsApp is a broadly used chatting app, people were waiting for the WhatsApp reaction feature for iOS and Android.

Keeping in mind Instagram’s reaction feature, the Meta owned company added the reaction feature on the beta version a few days, and now the feature has been finally for everyone. Yes, you heard it right. The WhatsApp feature can also send the reaction emoji to someone’s personal or group message. If you are not aware of this new feature and don’t know how to react to WhatsApp messages, let’s check out the steps.

How to React to WhatsApp Messages on iPhone

Note: Make sure that your WhatsApp App is updated to the latest version. So go to the App Store, tap on the Profile and check for the new WhatsApp App update. Once you have updated the app to the latest version, follow the below steps.

  1. Open the WhatsApp Conversation.
  2. Long-press on the message you want to react to.
  3. Next, select any one emoji from six to send the reaction to that message.
  4. Once you choose the Emoji, it will send the reaction message to the sender.

That’s how you can also share your reaction to WhatsApp messages from iOS and Android devices. You can also check who viewed your emoji reaction by tapping on the reaction emoji. Currently, WhatsApp allows user to select reaction from only six emoji collection: Thumbs up, Heart, Face with tears of joy, Face with mouth open, Crying face, and Person with folded hands

Similarly, you can also react on WhatsApp messages from Android devices. If you are using the WhatsApp Web version on a PC, you can click on emoji next to the message and choose any reaction from six emojis.
