Since Apple removed the popular battle royale game Fortnite from the App Store in August 2020, it has always been a talk of the town that Nvidia is working to bring back Fortnite on iOS with the help of GeForce Now. Fortunately, 2022 year started with excellent news from Nvidia for announcing to release GeForce Now for iOS.
A few days back, Nvidia announced on the blogs that the company is finally launching GeForce Now on iOS Safari. With the help of GeForce Now on Safari, iPhone, and iPad, users will play Fortnite with better touch-friendly technology. According to the official statement by Nvidia, there will be a limited time closed beta for Fortnite GeForce for iOS devices.
Users should sign up for GeForce Now on their iPhone and iPad to get Fornite on iOS. However, users cannot download Fortnite from the App Store; it will be easy to install and play via Safari on GeForce now. Fortnite with GeForce Now is expected to release on January 20, 2022, as a limited closed beta. But it would help if you were on the company’s wishlist to get early access to the game.
How To Get GeForce Now In iOS 15 On iPhone
- Launch Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
- Go to play.geforcenow.com
- Next, tap the Share icon (bottom of the screen on iPhone, top-right on iPad).
- Then, tap Add to Home Screen.
- Now give the shortcut a name (like GFN) and press OK to save it.
- You’ll now have a GeForce Now web app shortcut on your home screen, and you can move (or delete) it as you would any other app from the home screen.
- Tap the shortcut to open it.
- Tap on accept the terms and conditions.
- Tap the icon in the top-right to sign in to your GeForce Now account.
- Tap the menu icon (top-left) and tap Settings.
- Sync your Epic Games account with your GeForce Now account following on-screen instructions – this allows you to play Fortnite (and other Epic Games titles) on the service.
Once you have followed the above steps, you will have the GeForce Now on your iPhone home screen. You can quickly launch the GeForce Now shortcut from the home screen and enjoy the playing.
However, to play Fortnite limited time closed beta on GeForce Now on iOS, you should register for the Fortnite limited time closed beta in advance. If you are the lucky person, you will get the chance to play Fortnite beta on your iPhone.
There is no confirmed release date for Fortnite on iOS with GeForce. But the close beta is expected to land next week, and the final version scheduled to release next month.
