As many events got canceled due to the coronavirus lockdown, Apple is still planning to launch its next iPhone SE 2/iPhone 9 this year as recently Jon Prosser confirmed online that Apple is releasing its most affordable iPhone on April 15.
The popular website 9to5Mac, also hinted that Apple might also start taking orders for the iPhone SE from this Friday. It’s still not sure whether Apple will unveil the device online or hold a small press conference to release the device due to the coronavirus lockdown as every Apple store is not closed.
Well, we have already heard about iPhone SE 2 new features. Many rumors are floating everywhere about the device as it could replace the iPhone 8, which will have a 4.7-inch LCD screen along with the Touch ID home button back.
The device also expected to have the latest A13 processor, which is now running on the latest iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Plus. If you are wondering about buying a new iPhone SE 2 or iPhone 9, then you will be able to get the three storage options of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB in white, black and red colors.
The price of these models is still under the hood, but TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted last year that the ‘iPhone SE 2’ would start at $399 compared with the $449 price of the iPhone 8, which has an A11 chip.
