Apple Will Completely Go 100% Carbon Neutral by 2030

Considering the climate change affecting the entire world, Apple revealed its plan to become carbon neutral across its entire business, manufacturing supply chain, and product life cycle by 2030. Well, we are still ten years away, but the company already carbon neutral today for its worldwide operations. So by the year 2030, we will see every Apple product with the next zero climate impact.

Recently, Apple posted one short video on its YouTube channel, committing that all the facilities of the company will be completely carbon neutral by 2021. To give more detail information about it, Apple releases one page apple.com/2021 as a complete proof with some major points regarding Apple going 100% carbon neutral by 2030.

We have also heard many rumors that Apple will remove the charger from its next iPhone 12. Maybe the real reason for removing the charger is starting the carbon-neutral movement from this year.

Here’s the full information shared by Apple:

Apple is carbon neutral. But that’s not enough.

We reached that goal in April 2021, and we’re certainly proud that our facilities, corporate emissions, and corporate travel don’t contribute carbon to the planet. We use 100 percent renewable electricity, and we’ve invested in the restoration of forests, wetlands, and grasslands to remove carbon naturally.

However, all of this is just a starting point. We have an entirely different goal in mind. It’s kind of an audacious plan. By 2030 our whole carbon footprint — from manufacturing to transportation to end-of-life material recovery — will be nonexistent. All of Apple will be 100 percent carbon neutral. To do that, we’ll be using renewable energy and recycled materials throughout our supply chain. We’ll be restoring natural ecosystems around the world. And we’ll reuse as much as we can.

While designing the world’s most innovative products, we’re also designing a sustainable manufacturing process.

To really get to carbon zero while making products people all over the world love, many people might say that’s impossible. We say it won’t be. Keep an eye on us and see.

That’s not enough! Apple also shared more detail about its plans and climate roadmap on the official Apple newsroom page, where you can visit what Apple is currently doing to make everything environment friendly.

This is the great step of my world’s huge company and a good step to awakening other companies to go eco-friendly and manufacture products that save lives and save the world. What are your thoughts about this? Please share it with us in the comment section.
