Before the release of iPhone 11 models, there was a lot of buzz about iPhone 12 or iPhone 2020 instead of iPhone 2019. As the rumours started about the ugly design (three cameras at the back) of iPhone 11, people got excited to know more about the next iPhone 2020 models. Well, we have heard a lot about the upcoming iPhone 12 form the different sources. But recently, the Ming-Chi Kuo revealed something about the next iPhone 12.
We previously heard about Apple is skipping this year for 5G iPhone and planning to release the first 5G supported iPhone in 2020. That’s quite true as 5G will storm the world in 2020. But we haven’t heard about the design and material to use in upcoming iPhone 12 models. Hence, the Apple Analyst-Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that the next year’s iPhone model would come with a new metal frame structure just like they used in iPhone 4, which was released in 2010.
According to the report by Macrumors, Apple is said to change its flagship iPhone design “significantly” next year. In his research note with TF International Securities, as seen my Macrumors, the 2020 iPhone will have a more complex segmentation design, new trenching and injection molding procedures, and sapphire or glass cover assembly to protect the trench injection molding structure.”
Talking about the material used in newly released iPhone 11 models, Apple used an aluminum frame and is housed in an all-glass enclosure on iPhone 11 and a matte glass material encased in a durable stainless steel frame on the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max. But recently, Kuo claimed that the metal in next year’s iPhone 12’s frame is said to “reduce the negative impact of metal shielding on the high-frequency transmission efficiency of the internal antenna.”
He also reported that there would be two 5G iPhones in 2020 while the one with a 4G variant with low rate. So, we can predict three iPhones next year with the size of 6.7-inch, a 5.4-inch, and a 6.1-inch. As we can also predict that 5G will become compulsory in 2020 and Apple also have some Qualcomm as well as Intel to beat the rival with its upcoming 5G technology.
So, are you excited about the next year’s iPhone model? What more you think Apple should add on iPhone 2020? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
